Visual Art! Musée de Beaux Arts, Escher, Arsenal….

Take a break from music, fans of visual art? Great hangover cure. We were thinking Wednesday before the party, or after a brunch on Thursday. Here are some options. Advertise your interest, and we could form a group or self-organize. Express interest by June 8 or earlier (sorry, short notice) if you want to form a posse if you want to book a group at the Musee de Beaux Arts, or anywhere. Or, self-organize and maybe event tell us, fellow party-goers.
We can book a group tour of the collections for a group of 15 with three weeks notice and they suggest having more than one time available. The cost is $464 per group so perhaps $30 similar to regular unguided entry (depending on our count in the group).

We can also book online up to ten people for a time-stamped exhibit and the staff organize people arriving so you don’t miss your window. It can be to any one of these four exhibits: Torlonia exhibit of Roman sculpture, Early to Modern, Quebec and Canadian Art and Decorative Arts and Design.

There are also group discounts amounting to 5 or 6 off the $32 regular price entry for UNguided entry.

So, if people are interested, email or text Kerry or Robin and we could find a time when you’re here.

ARSENAL Gallery

I’m a fan of Arsenal Gallery, even the small permanent collection I find worth the price of admission, even on repeat visits. They’re in Griffintown and a little West, perhaps 15 minutes by car and 25 by foot (include Atwater market for a snack and goodies to take home). https://www.arsenalcontemporary.com/mtl/exhib
